Research Fellow (m/f/div) for Scandinavia (Postdoc)




The position is offered for an initial period of three years.




Your tasks

As a research fellow (Postdoc) you will contribute to the fundamental research of the institute by participating in various projects. You will also have the possibility to conduct your own research pro­jects. The research projects of our Institute focus on the welfare state by applying the methods of comparative analysis. European, international and constitutional law are all taken into account in this context. Your main area of research will be on social law in the Scandinavian countries. Specifically, you will be in charge of our country section “Denmark, Norway and Sweden”.




Your profile

For this position, we expect candidates to possess an outstanding knowledge of the law and prefer those with experience in conducting scientific research. Candidates should be committed and dedi­ca­ted to their work. All candidates must have a very good command of spoken and written English and of at least one of the national languages of the country section you are covering.

Remuneration is based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD Bund) and depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
